The Venetian poker room was the first in Las Vegas to announce its reopening after the COVID-19 closures. It welcomed players back on June 5, 2020. It is open from 9am to 1am daily. It is home to 32 poker tables.

The Venetian poker room spreads one of the largest varieties of cash games in Las Vegas. Typical no limit Texas Hold’em limits include blinds of 1/3, 2/5 and 5/10. A larger game is available if there are enough players. There is a 4/8 fixed limit Hold’em game with a half kill. Players will also find pot limit Omaha from time to time.
Venetian poker tournaments
The Venetian spreads a no limit Texas Hold’em tournament five days a week. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there is a $230 sit and go. These run from noon to 6pm. It starts when five players register. First place wins $1,000. The house takes $20. The staff receives $10. Players may make deals.
There is a $250 shootout on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:10am. It is capped at 80 players. The house takes $30 of the prize pool. The staff gets $10.
Venetian poker promotions
Venetian poker room promotions are funded by a $2 jackpot drop. The prizes rotate monthly. There is usually a bad beat jackpot that starts at $50,000. It is hit when a player loses four aces at the reset. The amount goes up $1,500 each day. The losing hand drops as the jackpot grows every $50,000. Players must use both hole cards. Pocket pairs must be used for four of a kind.
Another common promotion is one where players that are clocked in earn tickets to a large drawing. The number of tickets earned is based on the hours played.
Players earn $1 an hour in comps when clocked in with a Grazie card. These funds may be used at food outlets or to buy into a Venetian poker tournament.
