Venetian Poker Room
The Venetian poker room was the first in Las Vegas to announce its reopening after the COVID-19 closures. It welcomed players back on June 5, 2020. It is open from 9am to 3am daily. It is home to 32 poker tables.
Poker players flocked back to Venetian when it reopened. At some points, all tables were in use as cash games, sit and gos and eventually multi table tournaments returned. Venetian seats eight players at each cash game. There are nine seats at tournament tables.
Venetian poker cash games
The Venetian poker room spreads one of the largest varieties of cash games in Las Vegas. Typical no limit Texas Hold’em limits include blinds of 1/3, 2/5, 3/5 and 5/10. A larger game is available if there are enough players. The 1/3 game has a $100 to $300 buy-in. It is $200 to $600 at 2/5. At 3/5, it is $300 to $1,200. At 5/10, it is $500 to $2,400.
There is a 4/8 fixed limit Hold’em game with a half kill from time to time. Players will also find pot limit Omaha from time to time.
Venetian poker tournaments
The Venetian offers DeepStack tournaments almost daily at noon through August 1. Daily tournaments are suspended during this summer series.
Venetian poker promotions
Venetian poker room promotions are funded by a $2 jackpot drop. The prizes rotate monthly.
The July promotion is a $175,000 summer freeroll. The top 96 cash game players in terms of clocked in hours qualify. A $20 staff fee is required to play in the freeroll.
Players earn $1 an hour in comps when clocked in with a Grazie card. These funds may be used at food outlets or to buy into a Venetian poker tournament.
