The Venetian poker room was the first in Las Vegas to announce its reopening after the COVID-19 closures. It welcomed players back on June 5, 2020. The Venetian poker room is open from 9am to 5am daily. It is home to 35 poker tables.

Poker players flocked back to Venetian when it reopened. At some points, all tables were in use as cash games, sit and gos, and eventually, multi-table tournaments returned. In 2024, Venetian announced that it would build a new poker room on the second floor at Palazzo. It will be designed for streaming and poker videos. The size of the room will increase form 35 to 50 tables.
Venetian poker cash games
The Venetian poker room spreads one of the largest varieties of cash games in Las Vegas. Typical no limit Texas hold’em limits include blinds of 1/3, 2/4, 3/5 and 5/10. A larger game is available if there are enough players. The 1/3 game has a $100 to $300 buy-in. It is $200 to $600 at 2/4. At 3/5, it is $300 to $1,200. At 5/10, it is $500 to $2,400.
There is a 4/8 fixed limit hold’em game with a half kill from time to time. Players may also occasionally find pot limit Omaha.
Venetian poker tournaments
The Venetian offers DeepStack tournaments almost daily at noon through at least the summer of 2024. Typical daily poker tournaments were suspended for these series, which have run for the last few years. Buy-ins tend to be from the mid-three figures up to several thousand dollars.
Venetian poker promotions
Venetian poker room promotions are funded by a $2 jackpot drop. The prizes rotate monthly.
The Venetian Resort Wild Card of the Month promotion runs through all of 2024. Players making quads win $1,000 if it occurs on the flop and $600 if it happens on the turn or river.
The main poker promotion is a $250 high hand every 30 minutes between 12:15pm through 12:15am daily. A $100 random seat giveaway is offered every hour between 12:30pm to 11:30pm daily.
There is no pot minimum to win promotions. Players qualify as long as four players were dealt in the hand. The small and big blind may no longer chop due to this new rule change.
Players earn $1 an hour in comps when clocked in with a Grazie card. These funds may be used at food outlets or to buy into a Venetian poker tournament. Players who give at least three hours of cash game or tournament action receive free parking.
