The Wynn poker room reopened on September 30, 2020. It is now located at Encore. It removed some tables, leaving 28 on the floor with a separate large tournament area that expands to as many as 200. Each table seats up to nine players.
The Wynn poker room launched with only cash games. It later added tournaments. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This Wynn poker room review has all the details.
Wynn poker cash games
Players will find a wide variety of cash games at the Wynn poker room. This includes 1/3, 2/5, and 5/10 no-limit Texas hold’em. The buy-in is $100 to $500 for 1/3, $200 to $1,500 for 2/5 and $1,000 to unlimited at 5/10. Pot limit Omaha and mixed games are also common at the Wynn poker room at Encore.
Wynn poker tournaments
Tournaments returned to the Wynn poker room. Daily tournaments run when there are no Wynn Classic events.
There is a no-limit hold’em tournament each day. It is $200 Sunday through Thursday. The tournament starts at noon. It has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. There is also a daily 5pm tournament with a $200 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The 12pm tournament on Friday is $240 with a $40,000 guarantee. It has a $100 add-on and unlimited $200 rebuys. Saturday’s tournament is at 12pm. It is $300 with a $20,000 guarantee.
The Wynn Classic and other series run off and on throughout the year. Daily tournaments are suspended during these events.
Wynn poker promotions
Players clocked in with the Wynn Red Card receive $1.50 an hour in comps. These may be used for food and other amenities. The Encore poker room does not take a jackpot drop so there are no other promotions.
The Wynn poker room has a hotel rate for players that give at least six hours of action a day. Rooms are $139 Sunday through Thursday and $199 on Fridays and Saturdays. This does not include tax or the resort fee.
The Wynn poker room at Encore is spacious. The tables and seating are as comfortable as it gets. Many of the dealers and floor staff have been working for the Wynn poker room for many years. Dealers are experienced in nearly any poker game so it is a great place to drop by for unusual mixed games. Drink service is quick and offers a wide variety.
