How to play Crazy 4 Poker
A hand of Crazy 4 Poker starts with the player making two equal bets. One is on the ante. The other is on Super Bonus. These bets must be at least the minimum bet. Combine this with raises, and players need at least five times the minimum bet when using basic strategy properly. There is also an optional queens up side bet.
The player and dealer are dealt five cards once the bets are established. The player decides to fold or play. A fold surrenders all bets on the hand.
A play requires a raise. The amount is dependent on the hand. If it is a pair of aces or better, the raise may be equal to, double, or triple the ante. A raise on lesser hands must be equal to the ante.
The player’s best four cards are considered for the hand if a play bet is made. The fifth is discarded. The dealer then shows the house hand and looks for its best four-card combination. The dealer must have at least king-high to qualify. The ante pushes if the dealer cannot open. The raise wins here.
If the dealer qualifies, the hand is compared to the player. The ante and raise win if the player beats the dealer. These bets lose when the dealer wins. A tie is a push.
The Super Bonus bet loses on two pair or lower that loses to the dealer. It pushes when the player wins with two pair or lower. It wins on a straight or better, regardless of whether the player beats the dealer.
