Sahara is at the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip. It is at the end of the line of the Las Vegas Monorail. The Sahara brand has been in use on the property for most of the last 70 years. It closed for a few years in 2011 and became SLS Las Vegas, only to rebrand back to Sahara in 2019.
Sahara is smaller than most Las Vegas Strip casinos. Its casino floor is about 50,000 square feet. There are lounges, restaurants, a 1600-room hotel, and entertainment options like a pool and showroom on the property. Parking is free at Sahara.

There are about 600 slot machines at Sahara. Denominations start at a penny and go up to $25. Some of these machines are video poker and electronic table games.

Entertainment at Sahara
Channing Tatum, star of the popular movie “Magic Mike,” created Magic Mike Live – Las Vegas due to the overwhelming success of the franchise. The show features alluring choreography and thrives off of audience reactions. Throughout the performance, the men sing, play guitar, dance the salsa, and perform aerial spins. One audience member has the chance to sit on one of the dancer’s laps while he plays a drum set that descends from the ceiling. Shows are at 7:30pm and 10pm Wednesday through Sunday.

Sahara offers quick bites and casual dining to casino guests. Chinese, Italian, and Mexican cuisine is available as well as a sports bar, social dining, and a cafe.

There are three hotel towers at Sahara. The resort fee includes in-room Wi-Fi Internet access, access to the fitness center and seasonal pool, two complimentary bottles of water, airline boarding pass printing, and notary services during business hours.
Alexandria Tower features a rooftop pool and offers close access to Amina Spa and the Fitness Center. Rooms start at 322 square feet and feature a single king. The 490-square-foot rooms have either one king or two double beds. Suites have 630 or 955 square feet of space and upgraded features like oversized bathrooms.
Blanca Tower consists of only 196 rooms. 325-square-foot rooms have either a single king or two double beds. The Junior Suite provides 440 square feet of space, the One Bedroom Suite has 675 square feet, and the Penthouse has 3,300 square feet of space. Suites also have additional upgraded amenities.
In each of its over 1,100 rooms, the Marra Tower features classic amenities and a contemporary palette. Standard rooms are 360 square feet and feature either one king, two doubles, or two queen beds and a workspace. The 540-square-foot Junior Suite, 730-square-foot One-Bedroom Suite, and 1,075-square-foot Legendary Suite have upgraded features.
