At just over 50,000 square feet, New York-New York is one of the smaller Las Vegas Strip casinos. It is mostly slots. Video poker is only found at the bars and in a small section near the hotel front desk. There is a large stadium setup with baccarat, blackjack, craps, and double zero roulette available on the sportsbook side of the casino.
Table games
There are around 60 live table games at New York-New York. This includes baccarat, blackjack, crapless craps, craps, roulette, and a few poker pit games in the front pit. Minimum bets usually start at $10 or $15.
There are two eight-deck 3/2 blackjack tables in the back pit. The high-limit salon deals double-deck and six-deck 3/2 blackjack. It is only open during peak hours. New York-New York has a wide selection of entertainment options. The Big Apple Arcade is family-friendly. Games include Skee-Ball, Air Hockey, NBA Fever, and more.
Guests looking for a thrill can take a ride on The Big Apple Coaster. The roller coaster travels through a replica of the New York harbor, which includes a 150-foot model of the Statue of Liberty as well as several of Manhattan’s popular buildings. And to make things even more fun, the roller coaster trains are designed like New York taxicabs.
Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil is a mix of high-flying acrobatics, music, dance, comedy, and magic celebrating the city that never sleeps. Starring comedian and magician Harrison Greenbaum, Mad Apple blurs the lines between circus, live entertainment, and New York nightlife culture.
Terry Fator got his big break when he won NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2007. Fator won $1 million and a gig to perform on the Strip. He has a residency show Terry Fator: Who’s the Dummy Now? In it, he brings to life his cast of puppet co-stars.
