Las Vegas Locals Casinos Blackjack Survey
The following casinos focus heavily on the locals gaming market. Most are small. Some are larger locals casinos owned by Boyd Gaming or Station Casinos. The minimum bet at these casinos tends to be lower than off-Strip casinos. The rules are often better, too. These games hit on soft 17 unless otherwise noted.

There are three blackjack games at Aliante. All have a $10 minimum bet. There is a 6:5 single-deck game, as well as 3:2 double-deck and 3:2 six-deck. The double-deck game allows doubling down both before and after splitting. The six-deck game adds surrender.
Arizona Charlie’s Decatur
Arizona Charlie’s Decatur has two $10 blackjack games with the same rules. One uses two decks, while the other has six. Doubling down before and after splitting is allowed. (The Arizona Charlie’s on Boulder Highway dropped table games in 2019.)
Boulder Station has $5 6:5 single-deck, 6:5 Free Bet, 6:5 six-deck, and 3:2 double-deck blackjack. The six-deck 3:2 game is $10., and it allows a double-down before and after splitting. The six-deck tables add surrender.
There are three $5 blackjack games at Cannery. They are single-deck Super Fun 21, 3:2 double-deck, and 3:2 six-deck. Doubling down before and after splitting is allowed in all games. The six-deck game adds surrender and re-splitting aces.
There are two $5 blackjack games at Club Fortune. There are double- and six-deck tables. Players may double down before and after splitting. The six-deck game adds the option to re-split aces. Blackjack pays 3:2. Club Fortune’s table games are only open nights and weekends.
Green Valley Ranch
Green Valley Ranch has four blackjack games on its casino floor and two more in high limit. The casino floor games all start at $10. This includes 6:5 single deck, 3:2 double-deck, 6:5 Free Bet Blackjack, and 3:2 six-deck blackjack. Players may double down before and after splitting. The six-deck game also offers surrender.
The high-limit salon offers $50 double-deck and $100 six-deck blackjack. The double-deck blackjack game hits on soft 17 and allows re-split aces with standard double-down rules. The six-deck game stands on all 17’s and offers surrender, but not re-split aces.
All blackjack pays 3:2 at Jerry’s Nugget. There is a $3 continuous shuffling machine and $5 double-deck. Players may double down before and after splitting.
Pass Casino opened on the former Eldorado property in downtown Henderson on April 1, 2020. It has four $10 six-deck blackjack tables. Players may double down before and after splitting.
Poker Palace has two blackjack games, though one of them is among the worst in Las Vegas. The other, though, is among the best. The $1 double-deck game, the bad one, doesn’t allow a double-down after splitting and pays just even money on blackjack. The other is a six-deck game that allows doubling down before and after splitting up to three cards, and it has a $3 minimum bet.
Railroad Pass deals a $10 six-deck game. Players may double down before and after splitting. Blackjack pays 3:2.
Rampart has a double-deck and a six-deck blackjack game. Both have a $10 minimum. Double-downs before and after splitting are allowed. The shoe game adds surrender and re-split aces. All Rampart blackjacks pay 3:2.
There are six blackjack games at Red Rock. The two $5 games are both 6:5; one is Free Bet Blackjack, and the other is a traditional six-deck game. The two $10 games pay 3:2; one is a double-deck table with doubling down allowed both before and after splitting, while the other is a six-deck game that adds surrender. There is a $50 double deck-game in the high-limit area that allows re-split aces. These games hit soft 17. The high-limit six-deck game has a $100 minimum. It stands on all 17’s, allows surrender, and offers typical double-down rules.
Sam’s Town has three $10 blackjack games. One is double-deck Super Fun 21. They also offer double- and six-deck blackjack games with a double-down option both before and after splitting.
Santa Fe Station
Santa Fe Station has a $5 minimum bet for all its blackjack games. There is 6:5 single-deck and six-deck, and 3:2 double-deck and six-deck. The double-deck games allow a double-down before and after splitting. The six-deck shoe game adds surrender.
It takes $15 to get a 3:2 game at Silver Sevens. This game has eight decks and offers a double-down before and after splitting, with surrender and re-splitting aces the other options. There are $10 6:5 traditional and 6:5 Free Bet Blackjack games. Silver Sevens’ table games are only open nights and weekends.
Skyline Casino has $5 six-deck blackjack on weekend nights. Players may double down before and after splitting.
Suncoast is down to dealing only double-deck blackjack games. The minimum bet is $5. Doubling down before and after splitting is allowed.
Players may choose between six different blackjack games at Sunset Station. The main games are $5 Free Bet, double-deck, and six-deck blackjack. Players may double down before and after splitting. The six-deck game also adds surrender. During busy hours, some $10 6:5 tables open. These may be single-, double-, or six-deck games. Sunset Station is the only Station Casinos property that pays 3:2 on Free Bet Blackjack.
Closed locals casinos
Five locals casinos closed in March 2020 and have not reopened. Those are Eastside Cannery, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, Palms, and Texas Station.
Table games removed due to pandemic
Bighorn, Jokers Wild, Longhorn, Lucky Club and Silver Nugget all reopened in June 2020. These casinos all removed their blackjack tables during the closure and have not brought the games back as of April 2021.
