The following casinos focus heavily on the locals gaming market. Most are small. Some are larger locals casinos owned by Boyd Gaming or Station Casinos. The minimum bet at these casinos tends to be lower than off-Strip casinos. The blackjack rules are often better, too. These games hit on soft 17 unless otherwise noted.

Las Vegas locals blackjack by casino
We collected the following information in the summer of 2023. The minimum bets shown are what we predict are the lowest you will find, often in the mornings and afternoons. Expect higher minimums during busy times, especially for the 6:5 blackjack tables.
Alamo
One of the worst blackjack games in Las Vegas is dealt at Alamo Casino inside the TA Travel Center just off the I-15 at Blue Diamond. This four-deck game has a $15 or $20 minimum bet. Players can only double down on 10 and 11, and not after splitting.
Aliante
Aliante deals two 3:2 blackjack games. There is $10 double-deck and six-deck. Both games allow doubling down both before and after splitting.
Arizona Charlie’s Decatur
Arizona Charlie’s Decatur has two $10 3:2 blackjack games. One uses two decks, while the other has six. The double-deck game allows doubling down before and after splitting. The six-deck game adds re-splitting aces.
The Arizona Charlie’s on Boulder Highway dropped table games in 2019. It does not have any electronic table games on its casino floor.
Boulder Station
All blackjack at Boulder Station has a $10 minimum bet. Options include 6:5 Free Bet and a double-deck game that pays 3:2. There is $1 3:2 video blackjack on Boulder Station’s stadium gaming device.
Cannery
There are three $5 blackjack games at Cannery. They are 6:5 single-deck, 3:2 double-deck, and 3:2 six-deck. Doubling down before and after splitting is allowed in all games.
Green Valley Ranch
Green Valley Ranch has four blackjack games on its casino floor and two more in high limit. This includes $10 6:5 single deck, $10 3:2 six-deck blackjack, $15 6:5 Free Bet Blackjack and $15 3:2 double-deck. Players may double down before and after splitting. The six-deck game also offers surrender.
The new Green Valley Ranch high-limit salon offers $100 double-deck and $100 six-deck blackjack. The double-deck blackjack game hits on soft 17 and has standard double-down rules. The six-deck game stands on all 17’s and offers surrender, but not re-split aces.
Jerry’s Nugget
All blackjack pays 3:2 at Jerry’s Nugget. There is a $5 continuous shuffling machine and $5 double-deck. Players may double down before and after splitting in both games.
Pass Casino
Pass Casino opened on the former Eldorado property in downtown Henderson on April 1, 2021. It has four $10 six-deck blackjack tables. Players may double down before and after splitting.
Poker Palace
Poker Palace has two blackjack games, though one of them is among the worst in Las Vegas. The other, though, is among the best. The $2 double-deck game, the bad one, doesn’t allow a double-down after splitting and pays just even money on blackjack. The other is a six-deck game that allows doubling down before and after splitting up to three cards, and it has a $3 minimum bet.
Railroad Pass
Railroad Pass deals a $10 six-deck game. Players may double down before and after splitting. Blackjack pays 3:2.
Rampart
Rampart has a double-deck and a six-deck blackjack game. Both have a $10 minimum. Double-downs before and after splitting are allowed. The shoe game adds surrender and re-split aces. All Rampart blackjacks pay 3:2.
Red Rock

There are five blackjack games at Red Rock. For $15, there is 6:5 Free Bet Blackjack, 6:5 six-deck, 3:2 double-deck and 3:2 six-deck. The double-deck table offers doubling down both before and after splitting, while the six-deck game adds surrender.
There is a $100 double deck-game in the high-limit area with the same rules. These games hit soft 17.
The high-limit six-deck game has a $100 minimum. It stands on all 17’s, allows surrender, re-splitting aces, and offers typical double-down rules. Red Rock removed its stadium gaming in August 2023.
Sam’s Town
Sam’s Town has two blackjack games. The options are $10 double-deck and $15 six-deck blackjack games with a double-down option both before and after splitting. There is $0.50 6:5 video blackjack.
Sam’s Town removed the Super Fun 21 table in 2023. It was probably only dealt when it is busy enough for both pits to be open. Sam’s Town was home to the last Super Fun 21 table in Las Vegas. The game is no longer dealt in the market.
Santa Fe Station
Santa Fe Station has $10 single-deck blackjack. It pays 6:5. There is a $10 minimum bet for all its 3:2 blackjack games. Offerings include Free Bet Blackjack, double-deck, and six-deck blackjack. The single- and double-deck games allow a double-down before and after splitting. The six-deck shoe game adds surrender. Santa Fe Station is the only Station casino properties with Free Bet Blackjack that pays 3:2.
Silver Sevens
Silver Sevens has a $10 3:2 six-deck blackjack game. It allows double down before and after splitting. Aces may be re-split into four hands. The pit at Silver Sevens tripled in size. It was moved to the area near the parking deck elevators.
Skyline
Skyline Casino has $5 six-deck blackjack on Thursday through Monday nights. Players may double down before and after splitting. Blackjack pays 3:2.
Suncoast
Suncoast deals two blackjack games. Most of the tables are double-deck blackjack, with a six-deck table available. Both pay 3:2 and have a $10 minimum bet. Doubling down before and after splitting is allowed. There is also a $1 6:5 video blackjack game.
Sunset Station
Players may choose between four different blackjack games at Sunset Station. The games typically have a $10 minimum bet. The 6:5 single-deck game allows a double-down and after splitting. The double-deck game pays 3:2 and allows doubling down before and after splitting. The 3:2 six-deck game adds surrender.
There is also Free Bet Blackjack with a 6:5 payout. Sunset Station downgraded the Free Bet Blackjack payout from 3:2 to 6:5 in 2023. Santa Fe Station deals the only 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack game in the Station Casinos group now.
Closed locals casinos
Four locals casinos closed in March 2020 and have not reopened. Those are Eastside Cannery, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station. Both Fiestas and Texas Station have been demolished. Eastside Cannery’s future is still unknown.
Table games removed due to the pandemic
Bighorn, Jokers Wild, Longhorn, Lucky Club, and Silver Nugget all reopened in June 2020. These casinos removed their blackjack tables during the closure and have not brought the games back as of August 2023. Tuscany removed table games in early 2021.
Club Fortune stopped dealing live games in November 2022. It has no video blackjack.

There are still a few 6:5 single deck blackjack tables in the locals market. Double down before and after splitting is typically permitted.

Poker Palace deals a double-deck blackjack game that pays even money. The minimum bet is $2. Double down before but not after splitting is permitted.
Four decks
The only four-deck blackjack game in Las Vegas is dealt at the Alamo truck stop on Blue Diamond Road across from Silverton. It is among the worst blackjack games in the market, even beyond the 6:5 payout. Players can only double down on 10 and 11, and not after splitting. We found it with a $20 minimum bet during our last visit. It was $10 or $15 during all previous blackjack surveys.
Six-deck stand on soft 17 games
There are two stand on soft 17 games in the locals market. This 3:2 six-deck game allows players to double down before and after splitting. Re-split aces and surrender are available. Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock deal this game for a $100 minimum bet.
Six- and eight-deck hit soft 17 games
The following 3:2 six-deck games have double down before and after splitting. The dealer hits soft 17. Surrender is available. Re-splitting aces is only available at Rampart.

The 3:2 six-deck game at Poker Palace has double down on 2 or 3 cards before and after splitting. We found it for a $3 minimum.
The remaining 3:2 games have double down before and after splitting, no surrender, and aces may only be split once. Jerry’s Nugget has all continuous shuffle machines. Re-splitting aces is available at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur.

Free Bet Blackjack 3:2
Free Bet Blackjack is by far the most popular blackjack variant in Las Vegas. The house edge on the 3:2 game is about 1%. It is about 2.4% at 6:5 games.
The player gets a free double down on 9, 10 and 11. Pairs that do not have a value of 10 may be split for free. To offset this, the dealer pushes on 22.

Super Fun 21
Sam’s Town was the only Las Vegas casino with Super Fun 21. The game offers several exotic player-friendly rules. However, most blackjacks pay even money to offset that. Sam’s Town removed the last table in Las Vegas in 2023. It is now in our Las Vegas Blackjack Graveyard.
