Looking like a castle from the exterior, Excalibur continues with a King Arthur theme throughout the property. The casino has a selection of table games, slots, video poker, and a sportsbook. There are also multiple restaurants and entertainment options. The hotel offers almost 4,000 rooms and suites. Excalibur had the largest hotel in the world when it opened in 1990.

There is a tram at Excalibur. It is just outside the walkway to the Las Vegas Strip. This tram connects Excalibur with Luxor and Mandalay Bay. There is also an interior walkway to the properties. One corridor includes a food court. The other has a shopping district with some dining and lounge options.

Excalibur casino

Excalibur offers live table games and a selection of slot and video poker machines. By using their MGM Rewards card, players may receive slot play and member offers that can include comped meals and hotel rooms. There is a large stadium gaming area and other electronic table games.

There are no live poker tables at Excalibur. Its poker room closed in March 2020. The closest poker room to Excalibur is at MGM Grand. There is also one at Mandalay Bay.

There is also a BetMGM Sportsbook. In addition to a wall of TVs airing sporting events, the sportsbook offers individual TV stations for pari-mutuel bettors. Players may create an account, deposit, and withdrawal for the BetMGM mobile app at the Excalibur sportsbook.

Table games

Excalibur deals blackjack, crapless craps, craps, roulette, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Roulette tables have two or three zeros.

Craps odds are 3-4-5 times. This applies to both crapless and standard craps. Excalibur is one of just a handful of Las Vegas Strip casinos without a high-limit salon.

Entertainment at Excalibur

Excalibur offers guests a large number and range of entertainment options. Options include the Australian Bee Gees tribute show, Australia’s Thunder from Down Under (18+), Spice Wannabe – The Spice Girls Tribute, and the Mac King Comedy Magic Show at 3pm. Additionally, dinner and a show are served at the Tournament of Kings. It is based on the tale of King Arthur.

More than 200 games are inside the Fun Dungeon. The family-friendly arcade has carnival midways, kiddie games, sports games, and redemption games. Ultimate 4-D Experience is located inside the Fun Dungeon.

Dining and drinks at Excalibur

There are multiple casual and quick-serve restaurants at Excalibur. Some restaurants are located steps from the casino floor. Others are located on the Castle Walk level or near the Fun Dungeon.

  • Buca di Beppo – Italian dishes with some family-style options.
  • The Buffet – Open daily with a brunch buffet 7am to 2pm.
  • Dick’s Last Resort – American cuisine.
  • Drenched Bar and Grill – Poolside American fare.
  • Food Court – Multiple quick-serve options, including Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Big Chill, Cinnabon, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Fatburger, Hot Dog on a Stick, Krispy Kreme, Pick Up Stix, Pizza Hut, and Popeye’s. The food court is located on the second floor.
  • Johnny Rockets – Burgers and milkshakes.
  • Orange Julius/Dairy Queen – Desserts.
  • The Roasted Bean (Resort Tower) – Coffee and quick bites.

The 350 square-foot standard rooms feature a single king or two queen beds. Upgraded rooms offer views of the Strip. Four suite trims provide guests with additional space, including a separate living room. Trims include 680 square-foot Luxury Suites and Two Bedroom Suites with over 1,000 square-foot of space.
