Where to Play Crapless Craps in Las Vegas

Crapless craps is a variation of the traditional game. It was introduced at Bob Stupak’s Vegas World in the 1990’s. That casino is known as The Strat today.

Side bets in Las Vegas

We found two different sets of crapless craps side bets at Las Vegas area casinos. Most offer either All Small Tall Little side bets or Big Boom or Bust. However, side bets are not available at all casinos.

Las Vegas electronic crapless craps machines

Heads-up electronic table games have been growing in popularity. With this growth, heads-up crapless craps and easy craps games can be found at some Las Vegas casinos. These games typically have lower minimum bets than the live versions. Play is required before determining maximum odds on most games, making it difficult to determine which machines permit more than double odds. A Lucky Roller side bet may be available. It is similar to the All Tall Small side bet.

Heads-up gaming is when a player bets on the machine directly without interaction from other players. These crapless craps machines have a dice bubble located at each station. Heads-up games allow players to gamble without concern about other players’ speed. It starts when a player deposits money, places the minimum required bet and the timer counts down. The game can be sped up by pushing the roll button. Other stations do not affect the outcome or timing of the game.

We have also seen a multiplayer crapless craps machine. This newest version allows each player to choose two of the three dice available. So, results may vary for players on the same roll. It pays double on a field 12. A Lucky Roller side bet is also available.

How to play crapless craps

A crapless craps game starts just like a normal one does. A point is established on a come out roll. The betting is different. In crapless craps, there is only a pass line. There are no don’t bets on the table. The shooter must bet on the pass line.

A crapless craps pass line cannot lose on the come out roll. It wins on any 7. Any other number becomes the point. This includes 2, 3, 11 and 12. Any number besides 7 may become a place bet. The table has all other standard craps bets like the field, hardways and hop bets.

Crapless craps table odds vary from one casino to another. The Strat offers 10 times odds. It is the best casino for crapless craps odds in Las Vegas. The odds at MGM Resorts properties is 3-4-5. The three covers 2, 3, 11 and 12. Harrah’s goes down to double odds on 3 and 11 and single odds on 2 and 12.

Place bets are accepted on all numbers. These are paid based on this list:

  • 2 and 12: 11:2
  • 3 and 11: 11:4
  • 4 and 10: 9:5
  • 5 and 9: 3:2
  • 6 and 8: 7:6

Hardway bets pay 7:1 on 4 and 10 and 9:1 on 6 and 8. Hop bets pay 15:1 on easy ways and 30:1 on hard ways. The field wins on 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12. All Las Vegas casinos pay double at 2. The odds and bet table on this page shows whether the casino pay double or triple on 12.

While there is no such thing as craps at a crapless craps table, there is still a bet for it on the felt. It pays 9:1 when the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12.
