Treasure Island opened on October 26, 1993. It was developed by Steve Wynn. It was eventually acquired by the company that is now MGM Resorts. During the Great Recession, MGM Resorts sold the property to Phil Ruffin, who also owns Circus Circus.

Treasure Island is just north of the center of the Strip. Parking is free at Treasure Island.

There is no poker room at Treasure Island. It closed in August 2018. The closest poker rooms are at Venetian and Wynn.

There are almost 3000 hotel rooms at Treasure Island. There are multiple bars with video poker, over 1000 slot machines, 42 table games, and two stadium devices. Treasure Island has an independent Las Vegas sportsbook. However, it does not have a mobile sports betting app.

Treasure Island takes the 2023 Vegas Best Advantage Award for Best Value on the Las Vegas Strip Casino. TI offers the cheapest 3/2 blackjack on the Las Vegas Strip. There is a $10 six-deck game that goes up to $15 when it is busy. Surrender and re-split aces are available. There is $15 3/2 double-deck blackjack in the pit, too. High-limit versions stand on soft 17 and start at $50. The double-deck version is the cheapest of its kind in Las Vegas. The salon also has $50 European Roulette, which is at least $100 everywhere else.

There are 42 table games at Treasure Island. It has a basic selection that includes baccarat, blackjack, craps, roulette, Let it Ride, pai gow poker, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Treasure Island offers the best stadium setup in Las Vegas in terms of player returns and lowest minimum bets. So, it won the 2023 Vegas Best Advantage Award for Electronic Table Games.

The available games are baccarat, blackjack, craps, double zero roulette, and Three Card Poker. Treasure Island is the only Las Vegas casino with video Three Card Poker.

Live craps has 3-4-5 times odds. Stadium craps starts at only $5 and offers double odds.

All three types of roulette are dealt at Treasure Island. The main version is double zero. During busier hours, there is European Roulette and triple zero.

European Roulette is the 2023 Best Advantage Roulette game. Other Strip properties with European roulette include Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Encore, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Park MGM, Resorts World, and Wynn. Red Rock has the only table not on the Strip.

Entertainment at Treasure Island

The first Cirque du Soleil production in Vegas, Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, has an international cast of 67 artists. Family-friendly, Mystère embraces all the signature Cirque du Soleil elements that have made this show one of the must-see productions on the Las Vegas Strip. Two shows run nightly Friday through Tuesday at 7pm and 9:30pm.

Marvel Avengers STATION Interactive Exhibit is the Strip’s newest superhero attraction. The hands-on attraction gives guests plenty of photo ops and insight into the Tactical Intelligence Operative Network. Explore Bruce Banner’s lab, see Captain America’s uniform and shield, and get a closer look at the shape-shifting aliens from the Battle of New York, the Chitauri. Try to pick up Thor’s hammer and prove you’re a hero, not a villain. The exhibit is open daily from 11am until 5pm.

On select nights, there is live entertainment at Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ. Normally, there is no cover charge. However, there is a $10 cover on Fridays and Saturdays after 9pm.
