This page covers blackjack on the Las Vegas Strip from Aria and Planet Hollywood north to Caesars Palace and Harrah’s. The minimum bet for a 3:2 blackjack game in this part of the central Las Vegas Strip is usually $25 or $50, even during slower hours. It may be $100 when it is busy. Assume that a casino’s game hits on soft 17 unless otherwise noted.
All casinos in this area have a high-limit room, except for Linq. The ones at Cromwell and Horseshoe are only open during peak hours. We also have surveys for casinos on the north end and south end of the Strip.

Central Las Vegas Strip blackjack by casino
We collected the following information in December 2023 or January 2024. Below are summaries of the blackjack games found in each casino. The minimum bet ranges shown are what we predict are the lowest you will find, often in the mornings and afternoons. Expect higher minimums during busy times, especially for the 6:5 blackjack tables. Bellagio
Bellagio downgraded the stand-on-all-17 pit by the craps tables in 2020. Players must go to high limits to find these tables now. There are 6:5 eight-deck and Free Bet Blackjack tables near the front desk and past the craps tables. Other blackjack games include six-deck 3:2 tables and double-deck blackjack. It deals the the 2023 Vegas Best Advantage High-Limit Blackjack Game.
Blackjack players may double down before and after splitting. Some tables permit surrender and players to split aces into four hands. Blackjack minimums range from $15 to $500.
Bellagio is one of many Las Vegas Strip casinos with stadium gaming. It also has some 6:5 video blackjack machines on its floor.
Caesars Palace
There are five different blackjack games at Caesars Palace. Games include double-deck blackjack, eight-deck blackjack, and Free Bet Blackjack. The eight-deck game allows doubling down before and after splitting. Some games also permit surrender and re-splitting aces. Some High Limit games stand on soft 17. There are two blackjack games in the Caesars Palace high-limit pit. Blackjack minimums range from $25 to $200.
Note there are differences between the Caesars Palace high-limit salon and other properties within the same company. The double-deck game is unique to Caesars Palace. Re-split aces in high-limit games are also uncommon within the company. Video and stadium blackjack pay 6:5.
Cosmopolitan
Blackjack starts at $15, up to $100, at Cosmopolitan. There are 6:5 and 3:2 eight-deck blackjack tables and Free Bet Blackjack. Players can double down before and after splitting. Some tables also allow surrender and re-split aces. A six-deck game is in high-limit. It stands on all 17’s. There is 6:5 video blackjack.
Cromwell
Most blackjack tables on the floor at Cromwell pay 6:5, however, there are some 3:2 tables. Many tables have standard double-down rules and surrender available. There is also Free Bet Blackjack.
Blackjack minimums range from $10 to $50. We also found 6:5 video blackjack.
Flamingo
Blackjack starts at $15, up to $50, at Flamingo. Games include Free Bet and standard 6:5 eight-deck games. These eight-deck games offer double-down before and after splitting, plus the surrender option. There are three 3:2 blackjack games to choose from in the Flamingo high-limit area.
The standard six-deck game stands on soft 17. All other Flamingo blackjack games hit soft 17. Electronic table game machines offer heads-up 6:5 blackjack.
Harrah’s
The blackjack at Harrah’s is similar to Flamingo. However, blackjack game minimums range from $15 to $100. Games include 6:5 and 3:2 tables and Free Bet Blackjack. The double-deck blackjack at Harrah’s pays 6:5. At high limits, the dealer stands on soft 17 with a six-deck shoe and hits soft 17 at all other games. Video blackjack pays 6:5.
Horseshoe
Bally’s became Horseshoe in December 2022. The 6:5 eight-deck table allows players to double down before and after splitting. Some blackjack games also offer surrender. Other games include Free Bet Blackjack, Double Up Blackjack, and six-deck blackjack. High-limit games have limited hours. All blackjack at Horseshoe hits soft 17. Minimums range from $15 to $50. Video blackjack pays 6:5.
Linq
Linq deals 6:5 Free Bet and eight-deck blackjack. There are no high-limit tables or 3:2 blackjack games at Linq. Video and stadium blackjack also pay 6:5. Blackjack minimums range from $10 to 15.
O’Sheas is a part of Linq. It also deals 6:5 Free Bet and 6:5 eight-deck blackjack. Multiplayer video blackjack also pays 6:5.
Paris
Blackjack on the floor at Paris pays 6:5. The options are double-deck, eight-deck, or Free Bet Blackjack. There is a stand-on-all-17, high-limit game at Paris.
Players may double down before and after splitting. Surrender is available at most tables. There is also a double-deck game that hits a soft 17 and only allows doubling before but not after splitting. Blackjack minimums range from $15 to $100.
Planet Hollywood
There are $15 to $100 blackjack games at Planet Hollywood. Games include double-deck, eight-deck, and Double Up Blackjack. Some tables allow double down before but not after splitting, Other games, however, allow doubling down before and after splitting, plus surrender.
The high-limit salon offers two blackjack games. The double-deck game allows doubling down before but not after splitting. It hits on soft 17. The six-deck game stands on all 17’s. This game has standard double-down rules and surrender. Video blackjack pays 6:5.

Some of the 3:2 double deck games dealt along the central part of the Strip allow double down before and after splitting. Others allow a double down before, but not after splitting. Double down after splitting is not permitted in the 6:5 games.

Shoe games that pay 6:5 on blackjack were found at all twelve casinos in the central part of the Strip. All twelve central Strip casinos also have a 6:5 electronic version for lower bet limits.
Available blackjack variants
There are two blackjack variants found along the central part of the Las Vegas Strip. Available variants include Double Up Blackjack and Free Bet Blackjack.
Double Up Blackjack on the Strip pays 6:5. Players may double their bet and stand or play normally. The dealer pushes with 16 against 17-20. The game is dealt at Horseshoe, Paris, and Planet Hollywood. It has a $15 or $25 minimum.
3:2 Free Bet Blackjack on the Las Vegas Strip
Only two casinos on the Las Vegas Strip deal 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack. These tables are in the high-limit salons. The tables hit soft 17. The minimum bet is $50. The locals and downtown markets have many 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack tables with minimum bets as low as $10.
Free Bet Blackjack 6:5
The most common blackjack variant found in the central part of the Las Vegas Strip is Free Bet Blackjack. The house edge on the 6:5 game is about 2.4%, compared to only 1% for the 3:2 games described in the previous section.
The player gets a free double down on 9, 10, and 11. Pairs that do not have a value of 10 may be split for free. To offset this, the dealer pushed on 22. Free Bet Blackjack is dealt on this part of the Strip for $10 to $50.
