Kristina created several graphs that help show the different types of live gaming available in Las Vegas. These cover craps odds, crapless craps odds, pai gow poker variants, and roulette zeros in the market.
Vegas Advantage Newsletter
We have surveyed Las Vegas casinos for 12 years. That is how we can create content like this. Our latest newsletter includes all the details from our Fall 2022 Las Vegas Table Game Survey. It has minimum bets, blackjack rules, craps odds, roulette zeros, pai gow poker variants and where to play every table game in the entire Las Vegas market.
The Vegas Advantage Newsletter covers 71 casinos that we visited recently. You can support Vegas Advantage by becoming a member for as low as $3 per month. This gives you early access to new articles and survey data.
Las Vegas craps odds percentages
Most craps tables on the Las Vegas Strip offer 3-4-5 times maximum odds. The other Las Vegas market segments have a variety of odds. This includes 2x, 3-4-5x, 5x, 10x and 20x.
The charts below show the makeup of the types for the entire Las Vegas market, as well as the Strip, downtown and locals casinos.
Las Vegas crapless craps odds percentages
All but one crapless craps table in the market is on the Las Vegas Strip. Westgate is the exception, which acts more like a Strip casino than an off-Strip one.
Unlike craps, the Strip crapless craps tables vary greatly with odds. If the crapless craps odds have three numbers, the lowest covers the 2, 3, 11 and 12. For example, the MGM 3-4-5 times odds allow triple on 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12. Wynn and Encore have 2-3-4-5 times odds at crapless craps. This means the 2, 3, 11 and 12 are double odds. Caesars Entertainment casinos are 1-2-3-4-5 times odds. Those are single on 2 and 12 and double on 3 and 11.
Las Vegas roulette wheels by number of zeros
Triple zero roulette first hit the Las Vegas Strip in 2016. Today, every Las Vegas Strip casino, as well as four others away from the Strip, deal the game. Here is a look at the makeup of roulette wheels by the number of zeros in the market.
We put single zero and European wheels in the same category. European wheels offer a few more bets and return half of an even money wager when zero is called.
Las Vegas pai gow poker by variant
Pai gow poker is one of the most popular games in Las Vegas. Face Up Pai Gow Poker has taken over nearly all the tables in the market. A similar game called Dealer Open Pai Gow Poker is available at two casinos. There are only 19 traditional pai gow poker tables left in Las Vegas.
