Top 10 Las Vegas Table Games

Blackjack at The Strat

In Las Vegas, there are 24 types of table games when putting all versions of blackjack, pai gow and roulette into the same category. Blackjack is by far the most popular table game in Las Vegas. There are several others that are dealt at nearly all the 72 casinos in Las Vegas that offer live tables.

This list shows the 10 most popular Las Vegas table games. These are ranked by the number of casinos in the market that offer the game.

We are able to create this content because we regularly visit every Las Vegas casino with table games. The Vegas Advantage Newsletter shows every live table game’s minimum bet and rules, like craps odds, type of pai gow poker dealt, and if blackjack pays 3:2.

Blackjack is most popular Las Vegas table game

Blackjack is dealt at all 72 Las Vegas casinos with table games. We counted 1435 blackjack tables in the entire market. The average Las Vegas casino with live games hosts 20 blackjack tables. However, there is a lot of variance as some small locals casinos have one or two, and some on the Strip have nearly 100.

This number includes all blackjack tables, regardless of payouts and other rules. Blackjack variants like Free Bet and Bonus Spin are also in this number.

Craps

Craps ranks second on our list of most popular Las Vegas table games. It is dealt at 69 casinos in the market. Only Alamo, Skyline and Poker Palace deal blackjack and not craps. No Las Vegas casino deals craps without having blackjack. We counted a total of 227 craps tables in the market. This does not include the 32 crapless craps tables.

Roulette

Roulette is dealt at 66 Las Vegas casinos. Club Fortune, Main Street Station and Silver Sevens are the three casinos that deal craps but not roulette. We found 320 roulette tables in Las Vegas. Of those, 21 are European wheels, 6 are standard single zero, 208 are double zero, and 85 are triple zero roulette.

Pai Gow Poker

In a bit of a surprise, pai gow poker is the fourth most popular Las Vegas table game by casinos that deal it. You will find it at 58 of the 72 casinos with table games. This shows its substantial popularity in the locals market, where there are still a couple of $5 games left.

We found 147 pai gow poker tables in the entire Las Vegas market. Of those, 128 are some version of face up. There are only 19 traditional commission pai gow poker tables left in Las Vegas. Many of these share floor space with Face Up Pai Gow Poker, which opens before Fortune or its equivalent does.

There are only five Las Vegas casinos that deal pai gow poker without any face up versions. The Vegas Advantage newsletter will tell you where to find those tables.

Three Card Poker

Three Card Poker is dealt at 57 Las Vegas casinos when including all variants that are similar. It is found equally on the Strip, downtown, and in the locals market. We counted 114 total tables of the game in the market.

Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Coming in at sixth, Ultimate Texas Hold’em is dealt at 56 Las Vegas casinos. Adding Heads Up Hold’em and Jackpot Hold’em, which are similar but not exactly like Ultimate Texas Hold’em, would bring this total to 61. We found 126 total tables of this game.

Baccarat

Baccarat comes in seventh by the number of Las Vegas casinos that deal the game. That number is 43. Baccarat has the second most tables in Las Vegas at 368. That is because some of the large Las Vegas Strip and off-Strip properties have entire pits and VIP areas dedicated to the game, while most smaller locals casinos do not deal it.

Baccarat is not very popular in downtown Las Vegas for its size. It is only dealt at four of the twelve casinos in that market.

High Card Flush/I Luv Suits

High Card Flush and I Luv Suits are essentially the same game with different side bets, so these are combined for this list. We found High Card Flush at 13 casinos. We counted 12 I Luv Suits casinos. Paris is the only casino in Las Vegas that deals both. This puts some version of this game at 24 Las Vegas casinos. Each game has 15 tables in the market.

Crapless craps

In our last Las Vegas game survey before the pandemic in December 2019, only The Strat dealt crapless craps. Only two other casinos dealt it in the 2010’s at some point; Las Vegas Club and Plaza. Today, it is found at 22 Las Vegas casinos. All are on the Strip, except for Westgate. There are 32 total tables of this game.

Crapless craps does not have any don’t bets on it. The pass line does not lose on the come out. We published an article recently about the differences between craps and crapless craps

Let it Ride

Let it Ride is a poker pit game that has stood the test of time, allowing it to make the top 10 most popular Las Vegas table games. It loses an installation or two with every survey, but it is still dealt at 20 Las Vegas casinos, often with a $5 minimum bet. All are on the Strip or downtown, except for Rio. We found 26 total tables.
