No limit Texas hold’em and pot limit Omaha have taken over Las Vegas poker rooms. However, there are still a few fixed limit games left in town. These can be hold’em, Omaha, stud and mixed games. Most are found away from the Las Vegas Strip. Limit Omaha games usually have a half-kill.
Las Vegas Strip fixed limit games
The Bellagio poker room is home to most of the fixed limit games found on the Las Vegas Strip. The typical games are 20/40 and 40/80 fixed limit hold’em. There may be a game in the same range for seven card stud and Omaha hi/lo.
The Sahara poker room has a 4/8 mixed game on Friday nights. Aria, Bellagio, Resorts World and Wynn may also have some fixed limit mixed games.
Note that Resorts World does not use Bravo Poker. Its live games may be found on PokerAtlas. The same applies to Sahara.
There are a few lower buy-in fixed limit hold’em games on the Strip. Flamingo has a 3/6 game that usually runs.
Downtown Las Vegas fixed limit poker games
Golden Nugget is the last downtown Las Vegas poker room. It often has multiple 3/6 fixed limit hold’em games running.
Fixed limit poker in the Las Vegas locals market
The Orleans poker room is the best locals casino for Las Vegas limit poker. It has regular 2/4, 4/8 and 8/16 fixed limit Texas hold’em. There may be a 15/30 game when it is busy. The Orleans is home to Omaha hi/lo in Las Vegas. It often deals that game as fixed limit in 4/8, 8/16 and 15/30 limits. There may also be a limit Omaha hi, seven card stud or mixed game.
South Point also has a large selection of regular fixed limit games. These include 3/6 and 4/8 limit hold’em and 4/8 Omaha hi and Omaha hi/low. There may also be a stud or mixed game. South Point will deal any game if there are enough players.
All Station Casinos poker rooms deal limit hold’em. The standard limits are 3/6 and 4/8. The Santa Fe Station poker room may have a 3/6 Omaha hi/lo game, as well as an occasional 4/8 Omaha hi. Boulder Station is known for its 4/8 fixed limit Omaha hi. It may also have an 8/16 Omaha hi game during busier hours.
The usual game dealt at the poker table in the Silver Sevens pit is 2/4 limit hold’em. Skyline Casino opens its poker room on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Its usual game is also 2/4 limit Texas hold’em.
