Planet Hollywood will reopen its poker room on May 2, 2025, just before the start of the World Series of Poker at Horseshoe. While rumors have spread across the Las Vegas poker community for months, the news was first confirmed and reported by PokerAtlas. This announcement came a month after Vegas Advantage first reported that the Caesars Palace poker room will reopen on May 16, 2025, in the Appian Way shopping area. The new Planet Hollywood poker room will have 12 cash game tables and a separate tournament area.
The Planet Hollywood poker room closed in July 2021. Its last location was on the casino floor near the craps tables. It was previously on the other side of the casino floor. Its new location will be just off the large mezzanine area where Planet Hollywood’s poker room often held the large Phamous Poker Series. It will be in the former London Club space across from the wedding chapel.
Caesars Palace’s poker room was last next to the Caesars Sportsbook after vacating the area on the other side of the sportsbook seating area to make room for a nightclub expansion. The last poker room space, which closed in August 2024, became a temporary home for high-limit slots before becoming a standard slots area.
Planet Hollywood poker games
It is unknown exactly which poker games will be dealt in the new poker room. The area is larger and more luxurious than the former spots on the casino floor. This may invite higher action than before.
The previous Planet Hollywood poker room dealt 1/2 and 2/5 no-limit Texas hold’em. Most Las Vegas 1/2 games became 1/3, so it is a safe prediction that will happen here. The 2/5 game may become 2/3. The new poker room may deal multiple games with a $2 small blind and different big blinds.
Planet Hollywood dealt two no-limit hold’em tournaments daily when it closed in 2021. Expect at least that many daily tournaments in the new room in its separate area.
Horseshoe has a $6 max rake with a $2 jackpot drop. Caesars Palace had the same policy when it temporarily closed. Expect the $6+2 rake and jackpot policy when Planet Hollywood’s poker room reopens on May 2, 2025.

How to get to the new Planet Hollywood poker room
To visit the new Planet Hollywood poker room, take the escalators on the far left side of the pit when facing it from the craps tables. These are the same escalators that go to the Criss Angel Theater. You will see a large open area when you get to the top. Turn right and walk past the wedding chapel. The new Planet Hollywood poker room is on the right before the elevators.
