Silver Sevens $100,000 Blackjack Freeroll Tournament

Silver Sevens Casino

Silver Sevens, a locals casino just east of the Las Vegas Strip, is offering players a $100,000 freeroll blackjack tournament in November. Preliminary tournament entries start on November 1 and continue on Thursdays and Fridays through November 15.

How to enter the Silver Sevens $100,000 blackjack tournament

Players may enter the Thursday preliminary tournaments between 9am and 6pm. Friday entries are accepted from 9am to 7pm.

No entry fee is required. Participants must only be at least 21 years old with a valid photo ID. Players with an A-Play card who do not get drawn for the tournament are entered into second-chance drawings.

A total of 180 players will be drawn to participate in the tournament over five qualifying days. Silver Sevens will randomly draw 36 players from the drum on each of the five qualifying days. Winners must be present at the drawing to claim a seat. Each announced winning player has one minute to claim the seat before a new name is drawn. Players may only win one seat.

Five players not drawn for the tournament will be randomly selected to receive $100 in free play awarded to the winner’s A-Play card after each day’s preliminary session. A drawing after the November 16 final table will award four players $500 in free play.

How the tournament works

Each qualifying day has six sessions. The first starts at 7pm on November 7 and 14 and 8pm on November 1, 8, and 15. Each player draws a number one through six to determine their seat. Each session is 10 hands. The winner of each preliminary round advances to the finals.

The semi-finals and finals are on November 16, 2024, consisting of 30 winners from the preliminary round. The winner of each of the five semi-final tables moves to the final. One wildcard advances to the final table based on the highest score that did not win in the semi-finals.

The winner of the final table takes home $100,000 cash. It is a winner-takes-all tournament.

An eight-deck shoe will be used at a live blackjack table. Normal house rules apply, except that blackjack pays 2/1, instead of 3/2.

New blackjack tables

The tournament’s funding comes from $94,160.15 never won from the Bonus Spin side bet from the former blackjack pit plus an additional $5,839.85 from a general promotional fund. Vital Vegas first reported the promotional fund giveaway.

On October 1, Silver Sevens moved to a new type of blackjack table, which is incompatible with the Bonus Spin side bet. The new tables are called Easy Blackjack. Interblock is the manufacturer. These chipless tables have a live dealer. Real cards are used. Bets and dealer actions are made on touchscreens.

The minimum bet is $5 for 3/2 blackjack. A Silver Sevens representative told Vegas Advantage that $3 blackjack will be available soon and will be dealt all day.

Other Silver Sevens Interblock pit games

Silver Sevens offers two other pit games with similar designs. One is Roll to Win Craps. It offers 3-4-5 times maximum odds. The other is Dual Wheel Roulette. As the name implies, two wheels are used. A dealer drops the pill for both, rotating from one to another for a faster game. The minimum bet for both is $5.
