Poker Palace is a small locals casino in North Las Vegas. It is on Las Vegas Blvd near Nellis Air Force Base. The property consists of a small blackjack pit, seven poker tables, a restaurant, a snack bar, a race and sports book, slots, and video poker. It has a nonsmoking slots section.
The Poker Palace poker room is only open on weekend nights. It kicks off with a 6:30pm tournament on Friday and Saturday and 1pm on Sundays. If there is enough interest, a no-limit Texas Hold’em cash game may be spread afterward.

The only cash game is 1/2 no-limit Texas Hold’em. The most likely time to find it is after the Friday tournament. The minimum buy-in is $60.
Poker Palace tournaments
There are three no-limit Texas Hold’em tournaments each week at Poker Palace. The Friday and Saturday ones have a $25 buy-in with $10 going to the prize pool. On Sunday, it is $30. This includes the $5 staff bonus.
Players start with 5,000 chips. Re-buys are $20. There is an add-on at the third level for $10 that increases a player’s stack by 3,000 chips. Late registration is permitted until the add-on. The tournaments run on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30pm and on Sundays at 1pm.

Environment
The Poker Palace poker room is on the low end in Las Vegas. The staff is friendly and it is a regular mix of the same players. It is adequate for what it is; a weekend poker room dealing low-limit games in the far end of North Las Vegas.

Poker Palace rakes 10% up to $3 in its cash games. There are no promotions so there is not a jackpot drop.
Other things to do at Poker Palace
Poker Palace is home to a $3 3:2 six-deck one. The six-deck game has a unique rule that allows players to double down on two or three cards. It is the cheapest 3/2 Las Vegas blackjack game. The even-money double-deck blackjack game is no longer available.
There is a William Hill sportsbook next to the poker room. New players club members receive a chance to win up to $100 in free slot play. It may also be used on video poker. The bingo room is open with at least four sessions daily. More are added on weekends.
There is a snack bar open in the afternoon and early evenings. The restaurant is Maddy’s Paddys Café. It opens at 6am daily. It closes at 9pm during the week and midnight on weekends.
