Resorts World Poker Room Review 2024

Resorts World is the newest poker room in Las Vegas. It opened on June 24, 2021. It is the last new Las Vegas casino property to open with a poker room since Aria in 2009.

There are 30 tables at the Resorts World poker room. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are nine seats per table. Cash games and tournaments are dealt. Our Resorts World poker room review below has all the details.

All Las Vegas poker rooms

Resorts World cash games

The main cash game at Resorts World is 1/3 no-limit Texas hold’em. The buy-in is $100 to $400. Other common no-limit blinds are 2/5 with a $200 to $1,200 buy-in and 5/10 with a $500 to $3,000. Pot limit Omaha may run during busier hours. The 1/2 game is $200 to $1,000. The 2/5 one is $300 to $2,000.

There are mixed games offered by the Resorts World poker room. There are also other special game days and nights. Live cash games may be found at PokerAtlas. Resorts World is not in Bravo Poker.

Resorts World poker tournaments

Resorts World has two no-limit hold’em tournaments daily. The times are noon and 7pm. The buy-in is $200 for both. Daily tournaments have a guaranteed $5,000 prize pool in the afternoons and $3000 at night. Players start with 20,000 chips. Blinds start at 100/100. Levels go up every 20 minutes. Late registration is open through the first six levels. There are no re-buys or re-entries.

Resorts World poker promotions

Players clocked in with a card at a cash game receive $1.50 per hour. This is placed directly on the card and may be used on the Resorts World property.

There is a poker rate for the hotel. It is 30% off Sunday through Thursday and 20% off on Fridays and Saturdays. Six hours of play is required to qualify for the hotel’s poker rate. There are no other promotions as there is no jackpot drop.

Resorts World now drops $2 for a jackpot. However, as of November 1, 2024, it has no promotions. Players should consider this when sitting at a Resorts World poker table as it adds $2 to the rake with nothing in return, making it the highest in Las Vegas.

Environment

The Resorts World poker room is away from the casino floor on the Hilton Tower side of the building. This gives it a more formal poker room feel than others in town that are steps away from the smoky casino. Since the poker room is new, it has all the latest features along with comfortable seating.

Guests who enter from that parking deck will find the poker room before reaching the casino floor. Those who arrive from the casino entrance will walk past the casino and look to the right.

Resorts World rake

The rake for mixed and fixed-limit games is 5% up to $5. The rake caps at $5 for other games. It is 10% at 1/3 no limit and $1 at $10, $30, $50, $80, and $120 at other limits.
