On January 25, 2024, we visited Aliante Casino, Cannery, and Santa Fe Station. All three are locals casinos in or near North Las Vegas. Aliante and Cannery are owned by Boyd Gaming. Santa Fe Station is a Station Casinos property.

Cannery
We started at Cannery. It has a new Steak ‘n Shake. We took advantage of the $4.99 single combo. That’s one of the best deals you will find in a casino. It operates like a fast-food restaurant. There is no table service. Orders are placed at the counter.
The video poker was the same as our previous visits. There are two banks of “Up to 99.8%” machines, including one in a no-smoking area. Otherwise, the best game we found is 8/5 Bonus Poker. Some quarter machines have progressive royals. Most $1 ones do, too.
The table game pit was full of $5 games. This includes 10x craps, Roll to Win Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Wild Five Poker, and even pai gow. Blackjack tables were also open as low as $5. The open options were 6/5 Free Bet and 3/2 double-deck. The one and six-deck tables were not open.
Double zero roulette was its usual $6. Expect craps and pai gow poker to go up to $10 during busy hours.
Aliante
Aliante was our next stop. It is in the far north end of the Las Vegas Valley. It is a quiet, but large, casino. The minimum bet for most games was $10. This includes 10x craps, 3/2 double-deck and six-deck blackjack, High Card Flush, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Wild Five Poker. Pai gow was $15, while 00 roulette was $5.
The video poker at Aliante is typical for a Boyd Gaming locals casino. There are some 99.8% machines. Otherwise, the best game is $1 and higher 8/5 Bonus Poker.
Santa Fe Station
Our last stop of the day was Santa Fe Staton. It has many new amenities. There is a new high-limit slot room where the poker room was. The poker room is new and now near the bowling alley and movie theater. There is a new showroom and nightclub.
Table game limits were a little higher than usual. Baccarat and pai gow poker are now $25. Poker pit games like Crazy 4 Poker, I Luv Suits, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em were $5. All blackjack started at $10, including 3/2 double-deck. The Free Bet Blackjack table now pays 6/5. It was the last Station Casinos property with 3/2 Free Bet Blackjack.
Craps with 10x odds was $10. Santa Fe Station now has $5 Roll to Win Craps.
Santa Fe Station offers the typical Station Casinos video poker selection. There are a few 100% machines left with 10/7 Double Bonus and 10/6 Double Double Bonus. Other options include the 100% version of Triple Deuces and banks of “Up to 99.8%” machines. The best bar games are in the bowling alley where 8/5 Bonus Poker with a progressive is available in quarter ad dollar denominations.
Similar electronic table game options
Another Las Vegas Shoot to Win Craps machine is missing since our last visit. This time at Aliante. All three of the casinos we visited offer players two Interblock electronic table game options: heads-up craps and multiplayer 00 roulette.
Santa Fe Station is the only one of the three to pay triple on a field 12. It also has the lowest minimum bet requirement of only $1. The minimum is $3 at Aliante and Cannery. The Lucky Shooter side bet is available at Aliante and Santa Fe Station, but not at Cannery.
Aliante and Cannery have Ministar roulette machines with $3 minimums. However, at Santa Fe Station the dual wheel roulette has only a $0.50 minimum. Players can wager on one or both wheels.
