The Bally’s Las Vegas poker room reopened on September 25, 2020. It temporarily closed in May 2022. It reopened after the World Series of Poker, which is now held on the property. This property became Horseshoe in December 2022.
The Horseshoe poker room hosts 18 tables. It was the first in Las Vegas to offer eight seats per table at cash games and nine for tournaments.

Horseshoe poker cash games
There are two regular cash games at Horseshoe. The main game is 1/3 no-limit Texas hold’em. The buy-in range is $100 to $300. The other common games are 2/3 no-limit hold’em with buy-ins from $200 to $500 and 4/8 fixed-limit hold’em. Players may find higher limits for Texas hold’em at busier times.
Horseshoe poker tournaments
There are daily tournaments at 9am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm, and 11pm. The buy-in is $100 for all but the 11am and 8pm, which are $160. All tournaments are no-limit Texas hold’em. The starting stack is 20,000. Levels go up every 20 minutes. Registration is open for the first six levels. Each tournament has a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The one exception to the tournament schedule is on Saturdays. A $250 tournament replaces the daily tournament. It has a $10,000 guarantee and uses the WSOP deepstack daily structure.
Horseshoe poker promotions
Cash game participants clocked in with a Caesars Rewards card receive $1 an hour in comps. Higher limit games receive double comps.
There are weekly hourly freerolls. It is dealt every Sunday and Wednesday. Players qualify by giving at least 15 hours of cash game action in a week. The top 36 players each receive $300.
There are currently $100 high hands every 15 minutes daily from 10am to 3am. Players must have at least a full house to qualify. The pot must be at least $20. One hole card must be used.
Environment
The Horseshoe poker room is a casual room that receives most of its action from tourists. It is quiet and friendly. Many of the employees have been with the room for years. This allows players to enjoy great dealers and floor people. The Horseshoe poker room was remodeled in 2023. This includes new tables and chairs.
